The project supports the local community with conservation and hospitality skills plus making Mabamba more attractive to meet the International tourist demands for birding safaris to Uganda. Special thanks go to Netherlands Committee of IUCN. that has helped to fund the project.

We had a wonderful time. Richard is knowledgeable and has a very nice personality. Uganda is a beautiful country and we enjoyed the animals, the landscape and the people. 
The people were friendly, accommodating, soft-spoken and very sweet. My grandson, Ryan enjoyed every minute of it. He loved the Safari, cruise down the canal, he had a terrific experience.

The trip was an amazing experience and you were partly responsible for this. It was such a pleasure having you with us. Not only were you most knowledgeable but so patient and helpful. You seem to have a very good disposition (of course I don't live with you, but I bet your family would agree with me). Your welcoming me back made me feel so good. Who knows, someday I may be able to return. In any case Uganda now has a very special place in my memory
